A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Feel at home
with the details.

Clarity before commitment. Here’s how the proposed model would work.

What do I pay when I move in?

You pay a security deposit equal to one month’s rent, held as set out in the lease. Your first repayment to Comfy is one month after your move-in date, followed by five more monthly repayments. Exact dates and amounts are shown before you confirm your application and in the lease.

Who receives my monthly payments?

You repay Comfy, which advances the six months of rent to the owner. The deposit is separate and is held and returned according to the lease.

Is there an extra financing cost?

Comfy charges a one-time fee, a percentage of the six-month rent, shown in the calculator and in your application. If the renter pays it, it is spread across the six repayments. It is not an annual interest rate.

What happens if I move out early?

Ending the lease early does not by itself cancel the remaining repayments. The lease sets out what happens if either party ends early and how any unused rent is reconciled. Talk to us early if your plans change.

How do I apply?

Create an account with your phone number, choose a home and apply. Comfy reviews applications, usually within one working day, and may call you. Owners list a home from their account; every listing is reviewed before it goes public.
